I met Katie in 2009 when she was participating in the MTV FanWalk. My band was the one providing the official FanWalk song and we spent two weeks travelling around Germany together. I got along great with Katie, she was so nice and funny, everybody loved her right from the moment they met her. I only found out about her passing a few days ago. I am so sad and shocked and my thoughts are with her family and friends. Rest in peace Katie, I'm glad I met you.
